A Bit About Me...
Whether it's basking in the balmy bays of Cape Town, or fighting frigid depths in Seattle, if the water goes past my knees, I'm getting in.
I have been mermaiding semi-professionally since 2020 when a friend of mine (a wonderful Raqs Sharqi teacher), changed my life at a class when she said, "you know you can just buy a mermaid tail with your grown up money and no one can stop you". And four tails later, no one has.
I love the mythology, the bubble tricks, the swimming safety rigor, the community, and of course, the playful delight that merfolk inspire in all of us.
Looking forward to swimmimg with more UK mers and mer-thusiasts!

The perfect mermaid!
We use mermaid Danica for all of our events. She goes out of her way to make it the perfect birthday/event. The games and engagement with everyone is second to none. I would highly recommend her and look forward to the next Mermaid Danica party!

A FINtastic SHELLabration!
Mermaid Raella came to my daughter’s 6th birthday party and she was absolutely amazing. She had 12 girls all in awe and my daughter was so excited that a REAL mermaid came to her birthday party. I would definitely recommend Mermaid Raella. There were lots of personal touches and a really lovely gift for the birthday girl (which she has taken into school for show and tell). Thank you!

The girls LOVED mermaid Danica!
Mermaid Danica attended a party I had organised and was amazing! She had such a natural way with the girls and had so many fun games for them to get involved with. She was great with the girls no matter their swim ability and made sure everyone got involved. Would highly recommend!

Mermaid Magic!
Raella often pops out of the ocean to visit our guests in the swimming pool at Hayling Island Holiday Park and she is always absolutely magical. A true gem in and out of the water, she always brings a smile, a professional attitude, kind words and is an absolute dream to work with. A true beauty inside and out. The children (and adults!) are always completely enthralled by her and she brings a gentle magic to our park every time! We absolutely love Raella and would recommend her over and over again!
