A Bit About Me...
Hello, I’m Adria — a professional mermaid, singer-songwriter, actress and performer with a lifelong passion for creating magical experiences and bringing characters to life.
Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria and now based in London, I have been performing since I was a child. I trained in Singing and Drama at Bulgaria’s National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov” before graduating from Brunel University London with a BA (Hons) in Musical Performance. My career has taken me across stage, screen, music and live entertainment, including film, television, voiceover and commercial work.
Alongside my work as a performer, I am a professionally trained mermaid and an AIDA 2* qualified freediver. I love combining my performance skills with my passion for the water to create an unforgettable experience for every guest.
In 2023, I represented Bulgaria at Miss Ocean World, where I became 1st Runner-Up internationally and was also recognised as the Most Talented contestant. The experience was particularly meaningful to me because it brought together so many of the things I love — performance, creativity and a connection with our oceans.
As a mermaid, I bring much more than a beautiful tail. With my background in acting, singing, dance and live performance, I love interacting with guests, improvising, telling stories, posing for photographs and creating a truly magical character that both children and adults can enjoy.
Whether I’m swimming with little mermaid fans, performing at a special celebration or bringing an underwater character to life for an event or production, my goal is always the same: to make people believe, even for a moment, that magic really exists.

The perfect mermaid!
We use mermaid Danica for all of our events. She goes out of her way to make it the perfect birthday/event. The games and engagement with everyone is second to none. I would highly recommend her and look forward to the next Mermaid Danica party!

A FINtastic SHELLabration!
Mermaid Raella came to my daughter’s 6th birthday party and she was absolutely amazing. She had 12 girls all in awe and my daughter was so excited that a REAL mermaid came to her birthday party. I would definitely recommend Mermaid Raella. There were lots of personal touches and a really lovely gift for the birthday girl (which she has taken into school for show and tell). Thank you!

The girls LOVED mermaid Danica!
Mermaid Danica attended a party I had organised and was amazing! She had such a natural way with the girls and had so many fun games for them to get involved with. She was great with the girls no matter their swim ability and made sure everyone got involved. Would highly recommend!

Mermaid Magic!
Raella often pops out of the ocean to visit our guests in the swimming pool at Hayling Island Holiday Park and she is always absolutely magical. A true gem in and out of the water, she always brings a smile, a professional attitude, kind words and is an absolute dream to work with. A true beauty inside and out. The children (and adults!) are always completely enthralled by her and she brings a gentle magic to our park every time! We absolutely love Raella and would recommend her over and over again!
